Thiakry is a gourmet Senegalese dessert. Made from millet, it is steamed, often served with sour cream, milk or yogurt, fresh or dried fruit and spices such as nutmeg.
To prepare ThiaKry, simply pour the same volume of warm water over dry Thiakry, let stand in 10 minutes after covering, then steam or microwave. Another possibility of use: pour boiling water, cover and allow to swell.
